Heroes are simple and straightforward they don't require alot of heavy typical warrior mechanics like some other warrior classes do other than there combo system if you want more information I'll link the website to hero here: if your into thieves then try Night lord or Dual blade or Shadower You can also if you like give bowmaster a chance as their your normal archer class unlike Marksman which is a "Sniper" class if you're into games like COD or Rainbow seige etc. If you wanna play a class with crowd-control then Ice/Lightning wiz or you just want pure raw damage and the patients to time out your skills (DOT) then go for Fire/Poison mage If you like classes that deal alot of lines but hit slow then try Paladin, Cannoneer, Marksman etc. If you like balance-between classes then try Dark knight, Dual blader, Buccaneer If you're interested in a simple class with not a whole alot of mechanics to work around with then personally look into explorer branches, Explorers are your simple classes(s) with not a whole alot going on and their pretty straight forward depending on which explorer you wanna choose:

Hello and Welcome back to Maplestory - (AotakuOwlitist Dual blade mainer btw), Buffs have never bothered me since they usually lasted like 2 to 3 minutes. Something I can just relax with while watching a stream. TLDR So, I'm looking for a class that doesn't use a ton of skills. I think the light/dark switching is mandatory now? Luminous only came to mind because of reflection from back in the day. I also always loved the idea of someone using the Liberated Kaiserium (Looks so cool) but I don't know how viable that is to both get and use nowadays. I don't know much about Hero but recall people saying they used a single skill for everything way back when. My first thoughts were Hero and Luminous. Mercedes was just not fun once I hit third job and saw all the skills comboing. Evan was annoying having to try and use so many different skills while leveling. Kanna was okay to level up and it was decently enjoyable. While thinking about it I have leveled a Kanna and Evan to 120 for link/legion. So, I'm looking for a class that doesn't have a ton of mechanics to it. I enjoyed just hanging out with everyone chatting while also being the HS guy. I used to main Bishop (lvl 197) back in GAZED. Planning to just play casually for now but I'm not certain what has happened to classes (plus new classes and 5th job is a thing now!?) since I was gone.
